We Are CLIP
CIVIL AND LIBERAL INITIATIVE FOR PEACE
We pursue our mission of peace and democracy building through grassroots awareness, networking, and advocacy, and research and development. As an influential Civil Society member, the organization maintains large networks of advocates for peace in the communities through equal opportunities for access to information. CLIP adheres to these values: mutual respect, integrity, excellence, transparency, commitment, empowerment, and partnership.
CLIP’s professionalism relies on its internal and external competencies. CLIP houses experts in the fields of project management, finance and procurement, strategic planning and policy making. Externally, CLIP has successfully delivered public awareness, networking and advocacy programs. The organization enjoys comparative advantage and expertise of conducting capacity building trainings, change-management assistance, and research and development projects across Afghanistan.
CLIP maintains a deep understanding of the historical, political and socio-economic context of the country. The organization enjoys strong working relationships with a broad range of central and sub national authorities i.e., governors, provincial councils, judicial authorities, CSOs, religious and traditional members across Afghanistan, which has enabled CLIP to emerge as a trusted partner.

CLIP’s elder jurist helped us to refer to formal justice system instead of informal.
Youth Resource Centers helped me to increase my knowledge of women’s rights in Islam and Civil Law of Afghanistan.
These awareness training convinced me to participate in 2014 Elections.
Youth Resources Centers serve as a gathering point for us to exchange ideas, concerns, and provide recommendations on the traditional justice system.
Thank you CLIP for organizing sport matches where we get peaceful messages other than everyday concerns.
